Liberty floor screeding ~ Glossary of terms :-

Latex screed

Latex screed is a type of self-levelling screed that includes a latex additive, enhancing flexibility and bonding properties. It is often used in areas where traditional self-levelling screed may struggle, such as:

  • Over Existing Tiles or Wooden Floors: Provides better adhesion to difficult surfaces.
  • Thinner Applications: Can be applied as a very thin layer while maintaining strength.
  • Moisture Resistance: Suitable for damp environments such as basements or bathrooms.
